From blank paper to finished DVD

The VideoActive team looks after the whole training DVD or CD-ROM production process, from a blank sheet of paper to the finished product. Our range of video production services include research, scripting, filming, editing, and CD-ROM or DVD authoring.

The finished programme can be delivered as a straight video designed to form part of a course, or, or as an interactive CD-ROM for self-study. The interactive products have built-in self test questions to re-inforce the learning and give the student feedback and confidence, and there is often a test for evaluation by the line manager or course tutor.

Very often, we are required to produce support course leader notes and student handouts to accompany the video.

VideoActive clocks up 15 years making training videos

Videos, DVDs, Interactive CD-ROMs. We do them all. Training programmes are custom produced to meet your specific needs in both interpersonal skills training and in technical training. Productions we have made directly for the NHS include training for nurses in Venepuncture technique (taking blood samples), which was produced for the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital NHS Trust.

Many of our medical technique training programmes have been for suppliers of medical equipment who provide training and technical support for their products, using our DVDs or interactive CD-ROMs. Examples range from equipment for blood collection and reinfusion, to techniques for mixing bone cement in hip and knee replacement surgery.
